This is general information and can't be applied to all infants. Each baby is unique with differing feeding problems that can have multiple causes.
My patients all receive the same care of pre-release preparation and addressing the contributing problems which may also be impacting feeding - your baby may not have had that preparation.
I'm also awfully selective about which providers I refer to for the release procedure.
That said....here is the typical timeline of post-frenotomy healing I see with newborns.
